Mother's Day

Jamie's stepsister Jamie D. and her fiancee Scott came in from Boston Friday. It was the first time they met Averi. We spent Saturday evening at Ed & Maryann's house. Jamie's sister Ashley and her friend Kelly Came up Saturday from Chicago & stayed with us until Monday. Sunday my mom came over for dinner. We cooked fillet's & shrimp. Ashley grilled some pineapple and cooked sweet potatoes. Kelly made a big salad. (Olive Garden) It was a really good dinner. Here are a couple of pics & videos.

Hockey Tournament

Last weekend Kodie's spring hockey team had a tournament in Farmington & Melvindale. The kids played pretty good. We made it all the way to the finals but fell short 2-4. I guess that means we came in second. Nicklas Lidstrom was at one of the rinks watching his son play. Unfortunately I left the camera home all weekend with Jamie so no pictures. "Oh well" Kodie said, "I've already met Nick Lidstrom when we played against his kid a couple years ago."

We did however manage to take a couple cute pictures of Averi on Sunday.

Bring your kid to work day.

Last Thursday, April 23rd Kodie came to work with me for the day. He learned everything there is to know about the car business. He even helped me get a couple of deals approved. We went to lunch at the Lonestar with Ed Arthur and his daughter Brittney and Jim Robertson, two of the salespeople at the dealership. It was fun having Kodei hang out with me all day. Below are some pictures of us and of the four kids that came to work at Jim Winter with their dads.
