Tuesday night Jamie, Kodie, Tyler & I went to see my 2 favorite teams play, the
Red Wings (of course) and the
Pittsburgh Penguins. We couldn't have asked for a more action packed night of hockey, although a different outcome, yes. The wings blew a 5-2 lead in the third period and lost with 1:11 remaining in overtime 7-6. Our seats were 13 rows up the upper bowl in the corner. We saw the wings shoot in front of us twice.
Kodie's friend from hockey, Billy Bonser & his family were there also. They sat 2 sections to the right of us. Billy is a HUGE Penguins fan. He was pretty brave wearing his Sidney Crosby jersey into Hockeytown. Below are several pictures of us including one of Billy & Kodie wearing their rival jerseys.
